Gulet “Babac” is our smallest gulet, sleeping up to 8 guets in 4 double cabins, ideal for small groups wishing to take sailing vacations in Croatia & the Dalmatian Coast. She has just been recently renovated (2012) and apart from replacing much of her old equipement, they have added some important new extras, such as an awning over the stern dining area and a solar panels over the cockpit, which allows the air-conditioning to be used outside the ports. The batteries are charged up during the day, giving several hours use of the air-conditioning during the evenings, without the need to turn on the boat’s generator (as you may well know, generators are not the most convivial things to use at night as they can often be quite noisy). Naturally, when the boat is moored alongside a quay, they will use the mains power to drive the air-conditioning. Babac has been with us for over 6 years and has been offering us good service in all that time, so now, with this major refit, your cruising experience can only get better!

Downtown Tampa is undergoing significant development and redevelopment in line with a general national trend toward urban residential development. As of April 2007, the Tampa Downtown Partnership noted development proceeding on 20 residential, hotel, and mixed-use projects. Many of the new downtown developments are nearing completion in the midst of a housing market slump, which has caused numerous projects to be delayed or revamped, and some of the 20 projects TDP lists have not broken ground and are being refinanced. Nonetheless several developments are nearing completion, which city leaders hope will make downtown into a 24-hour neighborhood instead of a 9 to 5 business district. As of 2010, Tampa residents faced a decline in rent of 2%. Nationally rent had decreased 4%. The Tampa Business Journal found Tampa to be the number two city for real estate investment in 2014.
