Book your fishing charters with a 4th generation local captain – 813-787-0249: Tampa Fishing Charters has some of the world’s best fishing grounds and the angling is excellent year round. Our fishing charters provide opportunities for tarpon, snook, red fish, trout, king fish, Spanish mackerel, flounder, sharks, black drum, sheepshead and many other species depending on the time of year. We are able to accommodate all areas surrounding Tampa Bay with our multiple departure points in Tampa, Clearwater, St. Pete, Bradenton, Tarpon Springs, & New Port Richey . Book a charter with us during the late spring and summer to feel the exhilaration of catching large tarpon on light tackle. These spectacular fish are known for their aerobatic, drag screaming runs. Massive amounts of snook, red fish, and trout inhabit our waters, and we hunt for them when we are not fishing for tarpon. In the early spring, king fish and cobia migrate through the Tampa Bay area, and we target them when we can safely operate in the Gulf of Mexico. If you are businessman visiting Tampa Bay, we take corporate clients fishing all the time. We work with you to squeeze a trip in-between meeting times. Last minute…
Florida Inshore Angler.com was created by Allen Applegarth to provide Florida inshore saltwater fishing anglers with saltwater fishing tips, saltwater fishing reports, how tos, fishing videos, fishing and boating related product reviews, and a forum for anglers and other outdoor activities such as camping and hunting. A few years after establishing this saltwater fishing site in 2007, I decided to write another book based on Florida inshore fishing, fittingly named after this site. Depending on my available time limitations, my new title should be published in 2013-14.
A portion of the proceeds from sale of this attractive plate featuring the Montauk Lighthouse and striped bass will help benefit the Marine and Coastal District of New York Conservation, Education and Research Fund. The collected monies will be used to promote marine sport fishing, increase participation in marine recreational angling, increase public awareness and appreciation of marine and estuarine natural resources, encourage conservation of marine fisheries resources, and promote research and increased knowledge of the state’s marine and estuarine natural resources.
The first edition was structured to be a basic reference, and was used widely by Captain Mel Berman as his seminar workbook because of its broad collection of topics. This title is out of print due to changing publishers, but the revised edition, which I’ve drastically added to its content in detail, will be published in the near future.
Remarks: spawns primarily in summer; cannot tolerate water temperatures below 60 degrees F; can tolerate wholly fresh or saltwater; schools along shore and in passes during spawning season; feeds on fish and large crustaceans.
Tampa Bay fishing charters have been catching lots of Snook, a few reds, and limits of trout. The bay fishing is about to get really good as soon as the first cold fronts hit and the fish push into the bay, and for the anglers that will be here for this we will have 50-100 fish days fishing for snook and reds.
