Fish for species that can handle warmer, low oxygenated water, like Tarpon, which can live in dirty water or water with no oxygen, and Black Drum. If you’re still set on fishing for Snook, Redfish, or Trout, you’ll want to fish during the early morning hours and be done by 11am. This is especially true if you’re fishing the beaches for Snook. The water has the entire night to cool down and is at its coolest in the morning. If you can’t fish early and the sun is already up, fish deeper water, which stays cooler longer and is least affected by the sun.
